What We Do:

Brian Yaffa started B&L Landscaping in 1977. The company is family owned and operated by Brian and son, Larry Yaffa. B&L Landscaping offers every aspect of landscaping from planting trees to the design and installation of entire subdivisions. Our primary goals are to completely satisfy our customers and to enjoy what we do. We show our employees, customers and competitors the utmost respect because we believe in treating others the way we want to be treated.

In 1994 B&L Landscaping began freeway slope mowing, with the goal to be the biggest and the best. We’ve achieved that goal; currently B&L Landscaping cuts a majority of all the slopes in the tri-county area and is the largest independent slope mowing company in the country. In order to keep up with rapidly growing technology in our industry, we attend seminars and trade shows all around the country.

Commercial Snow plowing and De-icing

Grounds Maintenance
B&L Landscaping specializes in providing exceptional grounds maintenance to commercial properties such as corporate office centers, school campuses, condo and apartment communities and more. Our ground maintenance programs are customized for each property and our objective is to meet and exceed our client's expectations.

Large Area Mowing
B&L Landscaping provides freeway mowing to Wayne and Oakland Counties as well as the Michigan Department of Transportation. B&L cuts approximately 300 miles of freeway grass per season. B&L also provides large area and vacant lot mowing service. We currently provide this service for such cities as City of Detroit and City of Inkster. As with everything else, B&L focuses on quality so that these large areas look their absolute best.
